Kindra to me. Now Dr. Smith to you…is joining the #CWCFamily!
She will be a joy to have in the office.
Please join me in welcoming Dr. Smith, our NEW physician to help manage our R-Health contract. So if you are a R-Health patient, you will get to know Dr. Kindra Smith. She is local to the Cherry Hill area, has 2 children and loves wellness. We are going to work hand in hand providing you access to some of the best family medicine in South Jersey! First, there is a lot to learn. We have so many programs (oh technology) to learn and so many new faces, we are going to ease into her transition here over the next couple of months. As we move into the next open enrollment season, we will continue to expand what typical family medicine looks like. Advocating for more virtual medicine, group visits, and a hyper-focus on wellness.
With that being said, Dr. Chandler is not accepting any new family medicine patients at this time (however, if they are your immediate family member, we typically make exceptions – we believe in family). Everyone is welcome to consultations as we begin the launch the NJ Center for Plant Based Medicine with our partner Karen Burzichelli, RN.
Kindra Smith, MD – A Little History:
She is originally from the South Jersey area. Graduating from my husband’s alma mater (whoop whoop), Haddon Heights High School.
She received her Bachelor of Science degree at Montclair State University in Upper Montclair, New Jersey and then graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey with her Doctor of Medicine degree in 2001.
Dr. Smith completed an internship and a residency in family medicine at the University of Maryland Medical System in 2004.
Dr. Smith and I worked together providing family medicine in the past and have stayed in contact throughout the years, because you do not let the good ones go. I am honored to have her join our little ‘ole #CWCFamily.
